Early this morning, DirecTV and Viacom reached an agreement over their broadcasting dispute (read details here), and Viacom will allow the broadcasting company to once again air its channels to its over 20 million customers. That means channels like Comedy Central, Nikelodeon, and MTV will once again be available, after Viacom cut access to them a little more than a week ago. Details are sketchy, both to how the companies came to an agreement, and what the agreement actually entails. One initial report (given by DirecTV) says that 17 channels will be restored for our viewing pleasure, whereas another (given by Viacom) quotes all 26. The financial terms of the agreement were also not disclosed.

The best part about this, though, is that viewers will be able to watch Viacom’s channels on mobile devices, albeit exclusively through DirecTV’s Everywhere platform.
