Arguably the best two phones on the market today, a variety of tests are performed to determine which device is faster at performing the essential functions of a smart phone. Notice I didn’t say “performing every single thing possible for a consumer.” It’s all about performing the essential functions, such as browsing speeds, processing ability, graphics ability, download speeds on the network, etc. Flash… not an essential function. Neither is NFC.
Okay, enough with the disclaimers and possible prevention of stupid flame wars (seriously, enough people), let’s get into the comparison.
The first thing to note here as you watch the video, is that both platforms are amazing performers in the world of smart phones, and each device will cater to the needs of different types of users. No device is “better” for a person to buy. In most cases, the user interface and software are far more important to people than hardware specs. That being said, software is capable of doing a lot more stuff when the hardware is fast enough to allow it to.
