PS3 Emulators Enhance the Features of Your Playstation Console!
As you may have heard, Geohot released a jailbreak for the Playstation 3 console running firmware 3.55. The jailbreak is essentially is for creating a “Homebrew” version of the firmware, so that you can install custom packages onto your console.
StealthBravo, via Twitter, has given everyone a few links to download some of our favorite games from when we were way back as kids. The links are for EMULATORS that you can install onto your PS3 console. The emulators, if you don’t know, allow you to play “ROMs” (game files) on your console from other game platforms. So, with these links below, you can pick your console of choice (or just use them all) and play hours and hours of your favorite games from those consoles… right on the Playstation 3! YAY!
It should be noted that the emulators do not come with ROM files. Those, you’ll have to find on your own. I know, back in my day with emulators anyway, I used to go to AngelRoms to get mine, but there are dozens and dozens of other sites that will fill your hard drive with awesome games like Mario, Sonic, Zelda, and more.
