Are you an owner of a Motorola branded smart phone? Your chances of getting an upgrade to Android 4.0 or higher just got slimmer.

The Atrix 4G (Released February 2011), the Photon 4G (released August 2011) and Electrify (see Photon 4G) have now been added to the “Remain on Gingerbread” list.

How’s your phones software upgradability looking like? A ton of iPhones are on the latest iOS, where as the same will not be able to be said for Android any time soon. Even the upgrades listed here aren’t Jelly Bean. My advice for Android types who want the latest and greatest out of Google: Buy right from Google! You can grab an unlocked Galaxy Nexus for $349 right now over at the Google Play Store.
