I0n1c successfully Jailbreaks iPad 2 on iOS 5.1
I0n1c has posted to his Twitter a series of pictures. Those pictures, are a jailbroken iPad 2 running iOS 5.1, something that until now, wasn’t yet fully possible.
Apple’s latest release of iOS closed up the possibility of using existing jailbreaks with the iPad 2 previously, and all those who love the device jailbroken were told to stay away from it. I0nic has managed to get Cydia on the device, and it works, judging by the pictures. There is no information on this jailbreak, as far as what exploit he’s used, or whether it is fully untethered or not (although we assume that it is).
