The Verizon HTC Rezound Hands On
Hope everyone is still having a very happy holiday season. To welcome you back I’ve got a hands on with the HTC Rezound on Verizon Wireless. I must say that even though I thoroughly enjoyed the Galaxy Nexus, it was too big for ease of use. So make sure you can fully test out the device in your hands, as you would use it on a daily basis. With all that said, I went with a device that I think is being overlooked because of the hype of the Galaxy Nexus and the Droid Razr. While this device might not have the screen size of the Nexus, or the thin appeal of the Razr, it is a solid contender in Verizon’s lineup. Packing an HD 720p display (1280 x 720), the same resolution as the Galaxy Nexus, without pentile technology. All of that in a 4.3″ display adds up to a super crisp display. HTC also put in Beats audio super crisp audio (with Beats headphones to boot), and Verizon’s 4G LTE for super fast data speeds. Add a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Gingerbread, Sense 3.5, a gig of RAM, 16GBs of onboard storage, a 16GB microSD, and you’ve got a solid package. Throw in HTC’s next generation of optics for it’s 8mp rear shooter, along with 1080p video capability and you’ve got a workhorse.
