How To Put Newsstand Into A Folder On Your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad

I really hate Newsstand on my iPhone. There is just no point to having it on a device with such a small screen, so I wanted to put it in a folder. Sadly, there’s only one way to do it. You have to be really fast.

To get this to work successfully, you’ll need to create a brand new folder, and then very quickly add Newsstand to that folder, before the phone prompts you to name it. It may take a few tries, but as you can see above, it is possible.

Please note that Newsstand is unusable while in a folder. If you decide later that you’d like to use it, you’ll need to drag it out of the folder first. Otherwise, it’ll crash the springboard.

Also… something happened and my camera looks terrible. :( You win some, you lose some.
