It seems appropriate that I kick off my over-a-month hiatus of writing with something simple, and brand new to the world. I’ve been working a lot lately, and during my work, I’ve needed to find out a lot of information about a lot of things, quickly. Getting information is easier today than ever before with search engines like Google, and today, they’ve announced a revolutionary new way of search.

Presenting the Knowledge Graph, an entire new era of intelligent search, which brings together not just words, but real things that are associated with those words. It also uses powerful algorithms and complex behind the scenes computing to allow for users to gain from the successes of others’ searching success. With this new system, Google hopes to make everything even easier to access on the web. Check out the video below for their detailed run down.
