Get $100 Refund For Your Recently Purchased iPad!
Apple has announced iPad 2, and with the new device coming up fast, the previous model has had the price drop $100, to just $399 for the base model. This is great news for those that want a great device for a great price, but don’t necessarily care about having the latest and greatest!
However, for those who had already purchased the iPad, this leaves them in a pretty sucky situation, giving that they’ve already spent the normal retail price for what is to become the old and slower model of iPad. Apple knows their customers would be upset, if they didn’t know the new model was coming, and so they’ve started a nice refund process.
If you have your original purchase receipt, you can get a $100 refund on your newly purchased iPad 1. So, if you paid $499 normally, you can now get your refund, and would have then paid the new $399 price for the old model. This only applies to those who are still in the 14-day return window at Apple, and those who paid the original price for the iPad (before the price was reduced). So if you have purchased an iPad in the last 2 weeks (cut off date is February 16th)… Hurry to the Apple Store and get your money!
Customers who purchased their iPads in a store must present a receipt, while online buyers are instructed to call Apple customer service.
