Spotify free users are really going to love this latest update. Spotify has now enabled free users to listen to radio on their iOS application as well! This is a great addition that will surely put a huge dent in the iTunes Store, as well as other streaming services that were previously offering free radio to iOS users in the past.
With this update, users can create stations based on any song, artist, album, or playlist they currently see or have. There is also no limit on the songs you can listen to, or the stations you can have. Users can also save songs in their Spotify playlist with a simply thumbs up, so you can go back and listen to any song you want whenever you want.
If you haven’t tried Spotify yet, there has never been a better time to try it out. You can easily import your Facebook information to log into the app, and if you’re connected with Facebook, your friends will be able to listen to songs with you no matter where you are. If you’d like to know more about Spotify and Facebook’s partnership, you can check out the details here.
This update shouldn’t be confused with the premium user features for Spotify Premium subscribers. The streaming service for free users is limited to the radio feature only. Free Radio via Spotify for iOS is available only to subscribers in the United States.
