Curiosity Successfully Lands On Mars! Here’s One Of The First Images From The Surface!
We’ve successfully landed on the surface of Mars, a truly amazing accomplishment! There were people in the 60′s that went crazy over the lunar landing, and many even thought our Moon voyage was just a giant hoax!
I think it’s safe to say that us making it to Mars is easily a one-up on the moon. However, it’s only a robot, not a manned mission. Still, the journey was amazing to witness!
The photo above is one of the very first image sent from the Curiosity Rover from the surface of the moon. If you look closely, you can see the horizon’s shadow, and the rover’s shadow as well. There is also a slight hint of a wheel there!
